The health center in Särna has about 2200 registered patients and approximately 35 employees. The assignment is broad and formulated in agreement with the Healthcare Choice Unit. The staffing at the health center consists of many different professional categories with extensive expertise.

We offer a pleasant, challenging, and welcoming work environment in a rural area with significant seasonal variation. We are located in one of Sweden's most attractive mountain areas, with approximately 30,000 tourist beds. You have proximity to mountains, lakes, and hiking trails with breathtaking nature and the fifth season here!

During peak season (winter and summer), we have extended opening hours to meet the increased acute patient load.

District Physician for Health Center Särna

As a district physician at the health center in Särna, you will work with both planned and acute outpatient care, where you meet patients of all ages. You will collaborate with other professionals who contribute their knowledge.

We are also responsible for SÄBO/Home Healthcare, and there may be opportunities to work within BVC and MVC. The work takes place at the health center, but in some cases also in the patient's home environment. Supervision of doctors in training is also part of the role. The assignment includes on-call duties during evenings and nights, as we operate 24/7.

Requirements:

• Specialist physician in general medicine
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (B)

You are a competent physician with a structured approach and the ability to work both independently and in multiprofessional teams. We appreciate that you are a confident, flexible person who contributes to a positive atmosphere. You have good communication with your colleagues and patients. You have an interest in mentoring future colleagues and want to contribute to the development of the organization.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed healthcare personnel (HOSP) before any job offer is made.
